The Hourglass stool is hand carved from solid Suar wood timber, a fast growing and sustainable tropical timber. Being hand carved, it is more rustic in nature with chisel indentations evident. It presents as a traditional tribal look, passed down from generation to generation. The Suar wood colour tone is blond in nature, but will have natural darker toned elements in the grain.  Please note the Suar wood material can display naturally occurring flaws, such as knots, burrs, holes, minor splitting and tonal colour variance and this is not considered as a fault in craftmanship or function of the product.
